Ben Davies admits that the disappointment of the Wales World Cup 2022. It took a while to get over, but the defender insists that he is more motivated than ever in front of their qualifying against Kazakhstan.
Wales was eliminated from the Catara Tournament in the group stage without winning the win in what was their first appearance in the World Cup finals at the age of 64.
Dragons begin their qualifying campaign for the 2026 World Cup on Saturday because they greet Kazakhstan at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Wales is undefeated under the new manager Craig Bellamy and will be full of confidence after securing a promotion in the League of Nations in November.

Davies will captain Captain Captain in the absence of an injured Aaron Ramsey and, despite the strong recent form of the team, the defender was honest in his assessment of their depicting two years ago.
“It’s something that holds with me and I’m sure many other guys are holding on,” Davies said.
“The best moment of Qatar for us was probably a Ukrainian (play-off) game that got there. It was disappointing outside and something that was hard to get over for a while.
“We didn’t really show on the world stage how good we are or how good we can. So, hunger to go and do it still exists.”
In addition to his opponents on Saturday, Wales was attracted to the qualifying group with Lihtenstein, northern Macedonia and Belgium.
And while on paper there will probably be strict tests waiting for Davies and Co. From Kazakhstan, Tottenham’s player believes that there is no such forgiveness in international football.
Davies said: “Every game at international level will be a difficult game. We are aware that the expectation (to win) is there, but it is not something we, as a group, have to pay any attention.
“It will be a tough game against an opponent who will make it difficult for us and fight for every ball.”

The game will also mark the first main qualifying game of the Bellamy tournament as a manager.
The 45-year-old, who earned 78 caps for Wales as a player, monitored three wins and three draws in the first six indebted games-the beginning of any manager of Wales.
And Davies believes that the Detachment desire to reward Bellamy’s coaching talents.
“I feel like I’m learning things all the time,” Davies said of playing under Bellamy.
“The level of detail on the training ground and in the meeting salami is not the second. The biggest compliment I can give him (Bellamy) is that every player in this squad feels like they are getting better.”
Wales moved to Kazakhstan at the Cardiff City stadium on Saturday, starting at 7:45 pm in the UK.
