KKR plays 11 vs rcb

Champion defender Kolkat Knight Riders (KKR) will want to start their defense of the title in a winning note when they lock the horns against Royal challengers Bengalur (RCB) In the first game of the IPL 2025. The tournament opener should be played on Saturday (March 22) in Eden Gardens, Kolkat.

Rahane will drive a team from the front. One of the most experienced bats in IPL, Rahane played for Chennai Super Kings last season and scored 242 driving.

All eyes will be on the Venkatesh Iyer after Kolkat riders broke the bank for him at a mega auction, retaining their services for INR 23.75 crore. Southpaw has gone well so far for KKR and will look once more. Last season he scored 370 running with the help of four fifties.

Another mid -row bat in KKRK Play 11 should be Rink Singh. Reputation of Jugpaw has been hit lately and he will want to revive herself this season.

Andre Russell and Ramandeep Singh were set up as two versatile in KKR playing in the 11th year. Both players kept Kolkat Knight Riders and will ask to justify the decision.
