The Association of Tennis, co -founder Novak Djokovic, initiated legal proceedings against the control bodies of the sport.
Association of professional tennis players (PTPA) filed works at the District Court of the United States in New York.
The lawsuit amounts to a number of strong claims about numerous questions – PTPA claims that there are anticonic practitioners and lack of players in players in sports.
He says “professional tennis players stuck in a rigorous game”, which gives them “limited control of their own careers and brands.”
They take measures against the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), the women’s tennis association (WTA), the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA).
The complaint is submitted by PTPA and 12 players – including Djokovic, his co -founder Vasek Pospisil and Nick Kyrgios – “On behalf of the entire player of the player.”
Ptpa Ahmad Nassar CEO said: “Tennis is broken. Behind the glamorous veneer promoting the accused, players are trapped in an unjust system that exploits their talent, suppresses their earnings and threatens their health and safety.
“We have exhausted all opportunities for dialogue reform, and the control bodies have not left us choice but to seek responsibility through the courts. Managing these system failures is not in tennis disorders – but to save it for generations of players and fans coming.”
Sky Sports They try to contact ATP, WTA, ITF and Itia for comment.
