Coach Ronnie Shields says that David Benavidez’s fight against David Morrell in February will help him prepare him for the defeat of the undisputed heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol if he still holds four titles after his probable rematch against Arthur Beterbiev.
Shields sees a fight between Dmitry Bigol and Benavidez as “50-50”, but a lot of fans give David the advantage in that fight for his combination. Benavidez got youth and toughness on his side. The buffalo is 34 years old, and he looked like he would be spinning in his rematch with Beterbie’s recently, when he was pressed from two to seven.
Bonavidez’s “Mexican monster” capacity to endure the shots of the talented Cuban Morrel (11-1, 9 ko), which hits much stronger than the buffalo, will help him prepare for that conflict. Benavidez will transfer Bivol to the trilogy against the former indisputable champion in the difficult heavyweight category of Betebiev.
“I think he’s soon. He’s young, so he has to go back there. I would love to see him fighting in the next few months,” said coach Ronnie Shields to Fix About David Morrell. “Once I talk to the powers I can, let them know that this child is a fighter and that he has to be inside.
“Many people saw a great fighter against David Benavidez. It was a great fight, a little more experience, I think he could win the fight,” Ronnie said of Morrell. “We feel great what he has done and where he is currently. I think we have to bring him back as soon as possible.”
It is important that Morrell does not stay outside the ring too long after that loss, as he will lose a lot of momentum in his career. Many fighters tend to stay out of the ring after getting a big salary like the one Morrell got and their career goes downhill. If Morrell can fight a few more times in 2025, he will be able to challenge the world title in one of the riad tickets.
“Absolutely,” Shields said when asked if Morrell was in the first three most severe hit in the £ 175 division. “He can hit. All the lightweight weights will see and it will feel it. No doubt,” Shields said about whether Morrell helped Benavides prepare for Dmitry Bivol.
Morrell could be the biggest hit in a slight heavy division for individual shots. Arthur Beterbiev is considered the hardest blow, but when you look at the footage, he landed against Dmitry Bivol, they were not at the level because they were hit by Benavidez. Morrell and Beterbiev divide the common opponent into Radivoje Kalajdzic. The Morrell shocks looked stronger. The difference was that Arthur ruthlessly attacked Kalajdzic, causing him to throw him in the fifth round in the fifth round of 2019.
“I think David Morrell has shown that he is a real fighter. David Benavidez is one of the best fighters in the world. He knew he would go there, and I think we showed enough to say where people would say,” Hey, they will have to deal with this child. “
“So, everyone knows about David Morrela, and everyone knows about David Benavidez. These guys will be seen again. Definitely. That’s the fight I want to see,” Shields said about the fight between Benavides and Bivol. “I think it’s a fight 50-50.
“Benavidez is a really smart guy and can handle that ring, but also a buffalo. I can’t wait to fight. If David Morrell can fight or two, it can fight the winner. It’s a plan,” Shields said to Morrell to get a mandatory place to force the world title against whoever holds Belts at 175.
