Some players “are not good enough,” says Ratcliffe

Manchester United co -owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe says some players at the club “are not good enough” and “overpaid” because he discovered that the club will pay the players he inherited this summer.

Ratcliffe spent more than £ 1 billion Enter the club and is in charge of football operations at Old Trafford.

He monitored the campaign involving the dismissal of Erika Ten Haga and the employment of Ruben amomes – but United had a terrible season.

Amorim’s side is 14 in the Premier League.

Ratcliffe told BBC: “If you look at the players we buy this summer, which we have not bought, we buy Antonia, we buy Casemiro, we buy Andre Onana, we buy Rasmus Hojlund, we buy Jadon Sancho. They are all from the past, whether we like it or not, we inherited these things and we have to solve it.

“For Sancho, who is now playing for Chelsea and paying half his salary, we pay £ 17m to buy it in the summer.

“Some are not good enough, and some are probably overpaid, but for us to form a determinant for which we are fully responsible and responsible for, it will take time.

“We have this period of transformation in which we move from the past to the future.

“There are great players on the team as we know, the captain is an amazing footballer. We definitely need Bruna Fernandes, he’s a fantastic footballer.”

Sancho scored 12 goals for United, but he fell from the favorite under ten haga, spent the second half of last season on loan at the former Borussia Dortmund club before joining Chelsea last summer.
