Guimaraes Strike Sends Magpies Sixth

Newcastle United started a big week, moving to sixth place in the Premier League, as Bruno Guimaraes’ strike was enough to win West Ham.

Eddie Howe on the Carabao Cup side on the horizon, and now they are on the Manchester City points and have placed well for another slope in the Champions League after a much -needed victory on the road.

West Ham saw Thomas Soucek to blame a great chance in just 46 seconds in the game, as Newcastle had his share in defensive jerks.

But after that, the misses of Magpies were a brighter side, and Harvey Barnes was twice well withdrawn from Alphonse Auola before interruption.

Barnes was given a chance on the left side of the attack in Newcastle, and Anthony Gordon started a ban on three games, and former Leicester man was a constant threat.

He first shot from the passage of Kieran Trippier before the French guard saved well from the header.

Neither side could find the net in the first half, but the breakthrough came when Guimaraes penetrated Barnes Cross to put Magpies up to three points.

West Ham has yet to win the game in the Premier League after admitting and despite seeing a lot of balls and sending Evan Ferguson, Danny Ings, Lucas Paquet and Carlos Soller, they were not able to truly test Nick Pope.

Mohammed Kudus, a strong light for the hosts, saw a strong shot that was charged at the final moments, but they looked bluntly.

Defeat leaves hammer 16. The place in the table-but they have more than a healthy pillow of 16 points above the unlucky lower three.

One of the highlights for the local crowd was Michail Antoni’s forward at the stadium for the first time after a car accident last year, and he met the crowd before the game in emotional scenes.

With 68 goals, he is all the time of the top scorer of the West Ham Premier League, and the fans welcomed him on the field with a huge banner who covered a large part of a lower level behind one goal, reading “Michail Antonio-Nas Number 9.”

Newcastle, on the other hand, can focus on the final performance of the second league in three years against Liverpool.

Can I finally end that 70-year-old waiting for a domestic trophy?
