After retirement of boxers are in the 13th round

Two Coatesville, pa. Boxers are mentally involved in boxing injuries. Former IBF champion in the Calvin ‘Silky Smooth Perj category and sometimes beaten by heavy Jimmy Clark are both in sister institutions suffering from dementia.

The groves are at the Phoenix Center in Phoenixville, and although his appearance is good given that forty pounds are more difficult, while the memory of his past career is invalid. I was told that he could not go to the toilet in fear that he would seek to leave the object without knowing where he was going, according to former assistant coach Claud Mangum.

In his early professional days of Grove, he was at the camp of coach John Treitz and the assistant mangum coach in Pottstown, Pa. In the end, he moved to Texas under the promotions of boxing at Houston Boxing Josephine Abercrombie.

The Grove won the IBF Championship in the France category by defeating champion Antonio ‘Titon’ Rivera, 17-4-1, from Puerto Rico, stopping in four rounds.

In the second defense of Grove, he went to Mexico against Mexican Jorge Paez, 25-2-1, with a record 32-0 with Paes, winning the majority decision and winning the Grove title.

Two struggles later in his rematch in Mexico, the groves were stopped in the eleventh round. In his next fight, the IBF USBA Super Featherweight title beat Anthony English, in Moscow, Russia. Two more wins and stopped by Bernard ‘The Bt Express’ Taylor, 40-2-2, in eleven rounds, while in front of the decision of most forward in New York.

Grove won the next three fights before losing to the club fighter Bryant Paden, 14-7-3, in eight rounds at the legendary blue horizon in Philadelphia. He then defeated Regillio Tour, 28-1-1, a divided decision by winning a state title in the United States.

Then he lost Grove to WBC World Champion Super Feather Azumah ‘Professor’ Nelson, 34-2-1, a decision in Nevada. He returned well to defeat his next five fights, including former IBF Troy Dorsey champion, 12-6-4, on Blue Horizon.

In the next two fights, Grove stopped the former world champion of 3-Division Jeff Fenech, 26-1-1, in Australia. Again ‘Down Under’ beat former Australian and joint champion Lester Ellis, 35-3, a divided decision. Also, the WBC continental champion of Petea Taliaferro, 24-1, a divided by a decision, in Mississippi.

The grove ended his career with 2-5 stopped four times. First in the WBC world fight for the light title of Miguel Angela Gonzalez, 34-0. Then from the WBA Intercontinental Champion Angel ‘El Diablo’ Manfredy, 12-2-1, champion IBF Super Featherweight Arturo ‘Thunder’ Gatti, 27-1 and in his last fight for IBF and WBC Light Welterweight Champions Russia Born Living in Australia ‘thunder’ 19-1, 19-1, the 19th career ended with 49-10, stopped seven times. Why, especially in his career, was invested with several Ibhof inductor?

Those seven stops took over its present end of 1998. His memory passed in his last boxing career when I talked to him.

Jimmy Clark in a heavyweight category, in amateurs, in 1975, lost to the future World Champion Michael Dokes for the title Aau. In 1976 he lost to the future World Champion John Tate in gold gloves. 1977 won Russian Igor Vysotsky in competition with a double match of the Russian USA. In the same year, in the semifinals, he beat the future world champion Tony ‘TNT’ Tubbs and the future World Champion Greg Page for the national title Golden glove.

In 1978, he lost to the triple Olympic gold medal of Cuban Teofil Stevenson, once in Cuba and twice in the United States.

In a professional, Clark had a record 18-1 with 16 stops. He was 16-0 at the time he lost to Reggie Gross, 15-3, in nine rounds in Scranton, Pa. His aunt he was close to died two weeks before the fight and refused to get out of the fight, but mentally carried a heavy burden. After two victories, he ended up without a competition against Kimmuela, 9-2, 1989.

Clark said coach Angelo Dundee was in collaboration with him in several fights.

Clark is at Towne Manor East in Norristown, pa. He mentioned numerous Philly fighters of the past, but half a dozen times he asked if I knew Duke Dugent who was running 23 friends in Philadelphia. In our second meeting, I brought him a picture of Dugent, myself and Philly’s ‘Gypsy’ Joe Harris, which I tried to invest again after discovering him with a blind eye. His face was lit by seeing Dugent.

Both the inhabitants of Grove and Clark from the same town of Coatesville are in the 13th round of their lives suffering from injuries due to boxing.
