Leeds United wants to sign Hugo Bueno

Leeds United wants to improve their defensive unit at the end of the season and have identified Wolves Huga Bueno defender as a target.

According to the report from TeamtalkThey are eager for the 22-year-old Spanish international younger than 21 years of age, which has done well for Feyenoord this season. The 22-year-old joined the Dutch outfit on loan in the summer of 2024 and established himself as a key player for them.

Leeds is impressed with his performances and want to sign him as a replacement for Junior Firpo. The 28-year-old will be without a contract at the end of the season, and the new contract seems unlikely. Firpo has been quite impressive this season for Leeds, providing eight assists in all competitions.

He was a key player for Leeds and it is not surprising that the whites are already planning the future after him.

Bueno is unlikely to play for Wolves regularly as long as Rayan Ait-Nouri is at the club and it would make sense for the Spaniard to leave Wolves in the summer. He will look to solve his long -term future and focus on his football. Joining Leeds United would be permanently ideal for a player.

And in the past he was associated with Leeds.

Can Leeds convince a player to join?

Leeds is well positioned to ensure a promotion to the Premier League and will be an attractive destination for most players. It remains to be seen whether they can provide a wolf agreement in the summer.

In the meantime, nottingham Forest wants to sign a bueno, and they are well appointed to secure the Champions League qualifiers. It will be interesting to see if I can persuade the Spanish defender to join them instead of Leeds.
