Former defender Aston Villa Richard Dunne believes that Marcus Rashford has the opportunity to be the best player in the Premier League – although he wants to see him proves it regularly.
Rashford has impressed since he joined Villa at the initial contract for the Labor of Manchester United in January, ending a long spell with his boyish club, which became sour to the end while frozen under Ruben Amorim.
Villa has the ability to sign English International for £ 40m at the end of the season, although Dunne remains careful of committing at this early stage.

He said William Hill: “There was never any question about the ability and quality of Marcus Rashford when it is in shape, but I think Aston Villa still has to be careful and wait and see before it is obliged to sign permanently. It should be performed a week of a week because it is not too long for consistently or at the level that is expected.
“The villa must be sure that he turned a corner and found a club that suits him. If they see a determination from Marcus, that he wants to be the best player in the league-cork he has the ability to be a real exchanger for a villa and someone who can take them to the next level.
“His potential and ability are unlimited. He can win the games himself. If I can release him, it’s amazing signing for them.”

Rashford is likely to be in Unai Emery, starting with the XI for the first game of their Champions League, tonight’s 16th round in Club Brugge.
And Dunne, who scored almost 100 appearances for Villa between 2009 and 2013, is convinced that his former club can progress to the quarterfinals despite losing to the same opponents in the group stage.
He added: “The previous meeting of the two sides was at the Brugge club, so it is obviously a difference at the moment that they have the opportunity to turn any negative result in Villa Park.
“But when I was watching defeat at Bruggge, Villa was too careful and didn’t play freely. I would return Villa to beat Bruggge, home and distant enough, if they are brave enough to open up – they are good enough to do so. Unai Emery is a little concern – he doesn’t want his teams to be open and wanting to defend themselves from a solid play. I can beat Brugge.
“Bruges are really a good side, they are clumsy to play. They have really good, football players and they press very well. The villa should be able to beat them during two legs. I like them to pass, but it is important that they do not sit in the goven foot.”
