Williams’ Carlos Sainz was the fastest of Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton in the intriguing second day of the pre -season F1 testing, where Lando Norris showed McLarenin a real pace.
Sainz scored Hamilton by 0.031, while Williams continued to impress, and Charles Leclerc got both Ferraris in the first three in the third place where he was less than one -tenth.
The time of the Hamilton wing was set in the morning when the conditions were slower, so the sevenfold world champion accelerates in his new team and was more comfortable in the car.
“It’s been really good for a few days. The weather is a little on the road today, but we still went through a lot of programs,” he said.
“We are focused only on research and, for me, integrate into the fact that it is possible. It may seem like a lot of time has passed, but it has only been a month with a team, so we have hit a lot in a short time. The car feels good on the road.”

‘Extraordinary’ Norris shows McLarenin True Tempo
Optive rain during the day caused several tickles for drivers in the Bahrain International Circle, but when the last two hours had completely cleaned, Norris shone on the long run.
While Norris was only the 14th day of two leaders, he ended the simulation of the race in the afternoon, which attracted the attention of those who look at the time screens.
Leclerc and Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli also conducted full races simulations, and both drivers were about one second by a circle more slowly in the last stay with Norris, suggesting that McLaren’s long -term pace and tires were spending stronger than their rivals.

When is the first race F1?
For the first time in 2019, the opening of the season will be held in Melbourne at the Australian Grand Prix from March 14 to March 16. The first race moved from Bahrain to Australia because of Ramadan, which took place during March.
There are 24 events in the F1 2025 F1 calendar, the same number as last year, and the season ended up on the Grand Prix in Abu Dabi, 5-7. December.
