2.21 Friday Favorites – Fitnessista

Hi, friends! Happy Friday! What are you going to this weekend? It was a break from the rodeo competition (it was an Arizona thing and I love it), so the kids were out of school. We were just enjoying some Tucson adventures, having fun with friends and enjoying this spring weather. Send some sunshine to my frozen friends now!

I’m doing a round Equilife Detox Now And feel great. I was going to start with our community in January, but everyone else in the house got sick from the cold/virus so I stopped a day later. I need to shift my focus to immunity and be able to stay healthy while caring for everyone else.

Now that retirement is over and things are getting calmer, it’s a great opportunity to jump into 14 days. You can read more about my previous detox experience here. This focuses on high nutrition and many fresh whole foods, so it’s easy to stick with it. (It is worth mentioning here that I skipped the fasting days.)

Fashion + Beauty + Random:

steak! This is one of our favorite local events, with funds to support veterans and military families. They had live auctions (Tesla was auctioned this year, which was cool!) and silent auctions, delicious dinners (the seafood area this year is Amaaaaazing), drinks. and dance. I have always loved a little opportunity to dress up and party with pilots and friends.
