Tottenham’s head coach Ange Postecoglou praised Manchester City ahead of their meeting on Wednesday night.
The Spurs chief has already overcome the Premier League champion this season, once in the Cup League and again at Etihad in November.
But the Australian is well aware of the threat of Pepa Guardiola, especially when they are against it.
Speaking at his press conference before the match, Postecoglou said, “Yes, look, it’s always a challenge when you play City and cause you the way other clubs do not make your football.
“I know they go through a rough porridge for them, but their football is still a real challenge to play, but it’s a big challenge. That’s what you want and you want to get measured.
“They will come here and try to play, be dominant on the ball and we want to be dominant, but you know against Man City you can’t be and it’s impossible to be dominant in all aspects.
“You always look forward to the challenge. Man City is an extraordinary football club, a great manager, still having great football players and still playing a very challenging football to any opponent.
“We enjoyed our games against them, whether it was this or last year. They will try to win, they will try to play expansive, and we will try to do the same. It will be a good test for us.”

The victory would mark four in a row in the Premier Spurs League, their best form of the form of the whole season.
In recent weeks, they have risen from the lower six and to 12th, although still far from the European places.
But another win, against City, could lift the mood again more, especially with Micky van de Ven, Cristiano Romero and Dominic Solance, who were coming back from the injury next week.
He added: “Everyone rejects that we lost two games with cups there too, so they are not exactly three in a row. We understand that there was a disappointment there as well.
“I think the last few games have certainly given us encouragement in the sense that we only restart the group. Whether these are guys who worked very hard through that period we were really challenging or the guys returned.
“There is only the right energy in it. The guys who missed really wanted to make their contribution and you saw the enthusiasm that, Vicario, Brennan during the weekend, Maddison returning, Destiny, these guys bought.
“He helped the rest of the group. I think we used to use it with two weeks without any games. So, all these things and then get two wins, which makes people feel good and something for us.”
