“It was a difficult game. The first half was difficult because we traveled three hours on the bus for three hours because of traffic, and the roads were closed,” Ronaldo told SSC Sports.
“I want to apologize on behalf of Al Nassra for starting the game late. That should not be repeated. Sorry.
“We are not very good, but in the second half we were a little better. We repaired our problems and scored two goals so we are happy.”
Ronaldo said the focus of the team is both in the league and at the AFC Champions League, where they face Esteghlal Tehran on Monday in the last 16 on Monday.
“Play in the game, we have to rebuild confidence,” he said.
“We have to do it again, we have to win, win, win and see what happens.”
Ronaldo runs a list of league points with 17 goals this season, one ahead of Al Ittihad’s Karim Benzema.
