Pep Guardiola says Manchester City will need to play almost a “perfect game” to cancel a one goal in Real Madrid in the Champions League play-off.
City Trail Real 3-2 from first leg after scoring two late goals on Etihad and commanded the Guardiola page as they return to home soil for the other leg.
Guardiola has already insisted that City has less than 1%of the chance of reaching the last 16 against the 15-plow of the winner, which was resolved by the opponent’s chief of Ancelotti and is not under illusions that the task is to face his team.
“We have to do it with almost perfect game,” he said. “We have to attack. We have to score goals. That’s the idea.”
Guardiola is determined that the city will not leave Bernabeu as wondering or regretting, saying, “We have to play with courage. We have to be alone. We will need incredible courage and we have to play to win.
“We could still lose, but we have to show that courage and be ourselves. We have to play so well, especially after the results we took away in the first part.”
PEP 💬 We can win in the 94th minute, but we were always a machine, every three days no one did what we did in England … Maybe we’re not a solid team, we may be missing Rodri, of course, he is the best player in the world. .. I was a coach 13/14 and … pic.twitter.com/51y886xqy2

City has endured mixed experiences in recent years while traveling in Bernabeu after winning during the 1920th during the Koronavirus tie, before the dramatic additional defeat of 2022.
They then set aside these demons a year later on their way to a high high win, winning 5-1 to the aggregate after drawing 1-1 Bernabeu.
“I have a few amazing memories here – sometimes good, sometimes they are not so good,” added Guardiola, who also managed Barcelona in Bernabeu.
“We know at this stage, and at this stadium the pressure is there – but you in Milan, in Barcelona, on Anfield. You have to suffer in these places, but you have to reduce those moments.”
The real manager deleted the suggestions that City has a 1% chance of reaching the last 16, saying, “He doesn’t really think. We don’t think we have a 99% chance.
“We have a little advantage – and we have to use that.”
Guardiola replied, “For the first time he didn’t believe me. I always say what I mean, and this time you don’t believe me.”
