Main Coach Manchester United Ruben Amorim is facing a big dilemma on the eve of Sunday’s trip to Tottenham Hotspur after losing three midfielders injury in training.
Amorim admitted on the eve of the game that he was dealing with a handful of fitness problems, but refused to find out which players picked up the problems ahead of what seemed to be a huge fixture against Spurs on Sunday.
Athletic Now they have discovered that Amorim’s questions are revolved around his middle, where all Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Hungary and Toby Colleer have picked up injuries.
The scope of the problem suffered by Hungary and Collyer is unknown, but it is expected that Mainoo will take several weeks on the side. All three are likely to miss the Tottenham game.
Mainoo and Hungary were central in Amorim’s tactical setting, so they would lose both of them cause some significant problems to the main coach.
Bruno Fernandes could once again fall into a deeper role, but his partner could be either Casemiro or Christian Eriksen, of which no one enjoyed significant minutes of the arrival of the Amors United.
19-year-old Jack Moorhouse has been invited to senior training, and is expected to travel with the team on Sunday for what he might be his first appearance on the first team team.
