Maresca seeking solutions with injured Jackson and Gui -om

Chelsea will be without Nicolas Jackson striker by the end of March due to a knee injury, leaving them less than attacking the attack, and Auxiliary Marc Gui is absent.

Jackson spent a problem winning the house over West Ham on February 3. He is expected only after the next international break, which ends on March 25.

Maresca said today: “Nico is injured and will be out of international break. She is likely to return after an international break.

“We knew there were muscle problems, but not how important it was (significantly) at that stage. His reaction was good, so we didn’t think it would be a big injury.

“Unfortunately, he had a scan that showed an injury and will be out of six to eight weeks.

“Marc Gui will also be outside. He has a problem with the muscles, the knee problem, and it will be out for a short time.”

Nkunk is not the only solution

Asked if Nkunk is a natural replacement, he added: “Christoph could be one of the solutions, but he is not the only solution. I think Christoph is a very important player. He can try to help us.
