Former Manchester United midfielder says “renewal or relegation” for fighters on Old Trafford

Paul Scholes says that Manchester United must sign at least five players “with a little quality” or face the ability to drop out of the Premier League next season.

United is 13th on the table, but with the new boss Ruben, Ruben gives a little impression, and the team full of players is seemingly not good enough for the strictness of English best flight, Scholes believes that the summer overhaul is needed.

The Red Devils spent strongly last summer, but only Leny Yoro can be considered a decent signature – and the jury remains on it due to injuries problems – with Joshua Zirkzee and Matthijs de Ligt that fights for grade.

And Scholes fears, the second repetition of 2025 could bring catastrophic consequences.

United lacks a solid spine – Scholes

Former United and England midfielder said the discussion of fans overlap: “There are a few things that concern. There are a lot of things to do, we all know it, especially in the transmission windows, but I don’t see the core of players.

“When you look at the teams, you look at the team’s spine immediately. Liverpool: a big goalkeeper, a big central half, ahead, midfielders, anything else. I don’t think United had any of that in any position.

“I think a new goalkeeper, maybe two central half, two players in the middle and two central attackers are needed.

“All right, I’ll go to one central midfielder and one center forward, but with a little stature, a little quality and really create a spine. When you got right that spine, then you can add bits to her.

“That spine, that core, is so important. If you didn’t realize this summer, this could sound funny, but since this manager came in, he could watch outburst. I tell you, it was so bad.”

League forms care for amorim
