South Africa tightened her grip on a test match, claiming two key shots before the third day, but the Pakistani combat return blow kept visitors in the hunt. A 69-line partnership between Salman Aghe and Mohammad Rizwan brought Pakistan within 16 rides, avoiding the defeat of the insertion, placing the stage for the finals.
The Valiant knocking of Shan Masooda, lasted 368 minutes, ended in a disputed way. Kwen Maphak, South African Bowling of the Session, delivered the delivery of a seam that held a low and shocking Masood front pad. Judge Norin Menon initially ruled that stumps were missing, but a successful South African examination revealed that he had hit. Masood’s frustration was obvious when he protested with a decision, a rare scene in a commonly composed dough.
Masood’s dismissal marked the highlight Excellent sessions after lunch for South Africa. Kagiso Rabada, money from the other end, explained Saud Shakeel, who put into a permeability. Shakeel’s departure left Pakistan as he wrapped up, but Aghha and Rizwan got on board.
Salman Aghha and Mohammad Rizwan won the determination, stunning South African attack and reducing the deficit. Their partnership was built on patience, rotating strike and punishing a rare loose delivery. AGHA used, in particular, on the neglected Wiaan Mulder line, hitting two boundaries in fast succession to inject the momentum in Pakistan’s Inings.
Because the ball lost its glow and a ground that offers inconsistent bouncing, South Africa bowlers have worked hard. Keshav Maharaj, Bowling almost non-stop through the morning session, continued to represent a threat to his variation in flight and pace, although the Wickkets have mostly fallen to the Pacers.
The morning began by rejecting Marco Jansen Nightwatch Khurman Shahzad, who inserted a growing delivery at the point. Kagiso Rabada then produced a moment of glow to clean Kamran Ghulam, a bowling delivery that hit abruptly to dug out the middle stumps.
Rabad’s Wickket marked his 50th Test Scalp in Newlands, a turning point he celebrated with a triumphant root. Despite his success, South African Quick had a mixed morning, acknowledging running through a non -discipline, including four balls.
Pakistanski Saud Shakeel resisted with a Freemason, but his stay was disturbed by almost misses. Maphaka beat him with the beauty that hit the pads, although South Africa opted against the examination. Hawk-Eye later showed that delivery would hit the stumps, a missed opportunity that did not prove too much expensive because Shakeel fell shortly after lunch.
While the match moves towards its last phase, South Africa holds an advantage, but cannot afford compatible. Because Rizwan and Aghha show resistance and Pakistan’s tail capable of surprises, visitors are far from capitulation.
Proteas will look to end up quickly after tea and avoid a ticklish chase on the field. For Pakistan, survival remains the main goal while fighting South Africa again forced.
The drama of the test cricket is alive and healthy, and all eyes will be on Newlands as the action continues.
