Pep Guardiola admits that Jack Grealish has earned more playing for Manchester City this season and insists that he does not hold in person to the wing of England’s winged player.
Despite the insufficient achievement season and the long-lasting list of injuries involved in Grealish, the 29-year-old remained a peripheral character for the Premier League defenders with Jeremy Document and Savinho regularly preferred in wide contracts.
Grealish is likely to play in Fa Cup Fourth Circle on Leyton Orient tomorrow with City wanted to refuse from disappointing 5-1 capitulation in Arsenal.
Asked about former man Aston Villa, Guardiola said: “I’m so sorry they don’t get the minutes they may deserve, but in the end the contributions to Jeremy (DOC) or Savinha were massive this season. This is the only reason why; not personal or I don’t like Jack, or I don’t trust him.
“The presenter sometimes has to choose one player in front of the other, not only because others do not like you, but because the player can give you at some point in the season, at the moment better. No more than that.
“Of course I’m wrong and maybe you should play in other games, or maybe players who play should not, but it’s my world, my life, and you have to accept it.”
Leyton Orient is doing well in League 1, and Guardiola doesn’t expect easy afternoon to Brisbane Road.
He added, “Yes, of course (he will bring problems).
“We always had problems in this competition, FA Cup or Carabao Cup, in championship teams or league 1, or even league two.
“We always fight. But we’re ready to challenge. Every game is a new opportunity.”
PEP 💬 (to Nico) this is the position that we were weak than the lack of a relative. He is a young player … he can play 6 or 8 … He is a powerful boy. I know him from Barcelona and his father worked here. Really pleased with the club and looking forward to the following years. pic.twitter.com/chg9pu9ckg

Nico Gonzalez’s signing day could make his debut for City after moving from Porto, and Guardiola is pleased to have him on board.
He said, “This is the position we were weak in after absence from Rodrod.
“Young player, 23 years old, can play number six and number eight, more in pockets. Physicality – is a strong young man.
“I know him from Barcelona’s Academy and his father worked here. I’m really pleased with the effort of the club to bring him here in the coming years.”
