Scott TurnerA former NFL player and the Texas state legislator, a key procedural obstacle to the Senate advanced on Tuesday night, achieving a final confirmation vote to lead the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) at the end of ‘This week.
The nomination erased the procedural vote with a margin of 55-45, and two Democrats joined the Republicans.
