Zelenskyy open to Trump’s commercial proposal of rare land minerals for military aid


President Donald Trump Suggested Ukraine began offering critical minerals in the United States in exchange for military aid, and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy apparently welcomed the idea.

“We are contributing hundreds of billions of dollars. They have great rare lands. And I want the security of the Earth rare a sign that can be open to continued help in the war country.

Zelenskyy said Reporters on Tuesday that Ukraine was open to a “investment” of “members who help us defend our land and to push the enemy with their weapons, their presence and the packages of sanctions.”

Zelenskyy had been trying to develop the resources without exploiting, offering tax reductions and investment rights to external entities seeking minerals in 2021, before the start of the war. The Ukrainian leader launched the Mining of Minerals as part of the Victory Plan he elaborated last year and launched North -Americans.

Ukraine has Strategic titanium, lithium, graphite and uranium reserves, but much of its critical minerals are currently in areas under Russia. Donetsk, Luhansk and Dnipropetrovsk are all some of the richest regions in minerals, which means that Ukraine should recover the territory to remove them.

Zelenskyy revealed that Ukrainian leaders have had contact with North -Americans, including Keith Kellogg, the U.S. special envoy to Ukraine and RussiaAnd they are nailing some time to visit them.

“If we call things as they are, this is a proposal to buy help, that is, do not give it unconditionally, or for other reasons, but specifically to provide it in a commercial manner,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists Tuesday.

“It would be better, of course, that attendance was not provided at all, as this would contribute to the end of this conflict,” he added.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called Trump’s suggestion “very egocentric, very egocentric”, and said that Ukraine would need its resources to fund the post -war reconstruction.

China is, by far, the largest producer of rare land minerals, used in smartphones, electric vehicles, appliances and even cancer medicines. It represents about 70% of global production.
