President Trump on Tuesday signed an executive order withdrawing the United States from the United Nations Human Rights Council and participating in UNRWA, the United Nations Agency for Palestinian refugees.
Trump also directed the United States to review its participation in the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the body that uses culture and history as a mechanism for the construction of bridges among nations.
