Trump’s administration is seeking an expansion of Abraham’s agreements, hoping to incorporate new countries into the agreement and reconstruction of Gaza, the senior administration officials said before the CAP meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The meeting will take place at the White House on Tuesday afternoon, followed by a joint press conference with the President Donald Trump and Netanyahu. The meeting and the joint press conference will be the first Trump celebrated with a world leader since he took office again in January.

Trump and Netanyahu are also expected to discuss the second phase of conversations on the cessation of Gaza and the release of hostages.

A senior administration official said that Trump sees Gaza as a “place of demolition” and believes that it is “inhuman to force people to live” there in their current state.
Officials said Trump hopes to take 10 to 15 years to rebuild Gaza, but they said that reconstruction is not something that the United States will solve unilaterally.
In the meantime, senior administration officials said that the President expects an expansion of Abraham’s agreements, which were intermediaries during the first Trump administration.
The Abraham agreements were a historical agreement of peace between Israel and the United Arab Emirates that normalized relationships and created bilateral agreements on “investment, tourism, direct flights, security, telecommunications, technology, energy, health care, culture, medium atmosphere, the establishment of reciprocal embassies and other areas of mutual benefit. ”

“Obviously we hope that the expansion of Abraham’s agreements will continue and bloom, in this administration,” said a senior administration official, who added that the president sees “an opportunity throughout the region and all over the world, to bring more countries to Abraham Accords. ”
