Trump’s administration is seeking an expansion of Abraham’s agreements, hoping to incorporate new countries into the agreement and reconstruction of Gaza, the senior administration officials said before the CAP meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The two leaders are expected to discuss the maintenance of the cessation offers and a joint commitment to the release of Hamas hostages on October 7, 2023, according to senior administration officials.
Officials said Trump focuses on removing all hostages and ensuring that Hamas cannot continue to govern.
Trump and Netanyahu are also expected to discuss the second phase of conversations on the cessation of Gaza and the release of hostages.
“There will be unity in the intention of pursuing -” said one official.
Beyond the cessation of fire, the president is expected to raise the subject of Gaza’s reconstruction.
A senior administration official said that Trump sees Gaza as a “place of demolition” and believes that it is “inhuman to force people to live” there in their current state.
Officials said Trump hopes to take 10 to 15 years to rebuild Gaza, but they said that reconstruction is not something that the United States will solve unilaterally.
In the meantime, senior administration officials said that the President expects an expansion of Abraham’s agreements, which were intermediaries during the first Trump administration.
The Abraham agreements were a historical agreement of peace between Israel and the United Arab Emirates that normalized relationships and created bilateral agreements on “investment, tourism, direct flights, security, telecommunications, technology, energy, health care, culture, medium atmosphere, the establishment of reciprocal embassies and other areas of mutual benefit. ”
“Obviously we hope that the expansion of Abraham’s agreements will continue and bloom, in this administration,” said a senior administration official, who added that the president sees “an opportunity throughout the region and all over the world, to bring more countries to Abraham Accords. ”
The third round of hostage launches begins as part of the cessation of Hamas cessation with Israel
“Time will take time. It will not happen during the night. But it is certainly on top of the agenda,” the official said.
In 2018, the Trump administration transferred the United States Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, a debate relocation in Washington – and one that showed the United States officially recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
Also during Trump’s first administration, the President recognized Israeli sovereignty from Golan’s heights and withdrew the United States from the United Nations Human Rights Council.
The meeting between Trump and Netanyahu has been the first since July, when Netanyahu visited the Trump Mar-Aagre in Palm Beach, Florida.
This meeting took place during the visit of the Israeli Prime Minister to the United States during this visit, Netanyahu went to Congress and met with the former president Joe Biden To meet with families of the North -American hostages, Hamas hostages.
There are currently 79 Hamas hostages to Gaza, including six double citizens in the United States and Israel.
Netanyahu, when traveling to the United States, said of Trump: “The fact that this is its first meeting with a leader of a foreign country, as its inauguration is of great importance to the state of Israel” .
“First, indicates the strength of the alliance between Israel and the United States. Secondly, it also reflects the strength of our connection; a connection that has already given great things to the state of Israel and the Region, and also caused the historical peace agreements between Israel and four Arab countries: the “Abraham agreements” directed by President Trump, “said the Prime Minister.
