Robert F. Kennedy Jr. He will face a fundamental test on Tuesday morning, as the Senate Finance Committee votes his candidacy for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
At 10 am the Committee will meet to consider President Donald Trump HHS PICK, after its audience last week.
The 27 -member committee consists of 14 Republican members and 13 Democrats. Kennedy will need most of the votes to move forward from the Committee.

It will probably need the support of all the Republican commissioners, assuming that Democratic senators do not stand behind. No Democrat of the Committee said they are planning to vote to advance to Kennedy.

Kennedy spoke to Cassidy over the weekend, as the senator had scheduled for one of his audiences. The representatives of each did not disseminate details of the last minute conversations.

If Trump’s candidate is not advanced outside the Committee, he is unlikely to reach the Senate floor to vote.
Kennedy would become the first Trump candidate in this mandate to achieve this obstacle, as the other options of the President have been passing through the Higher Chamber and several have been confirmed and jurors. Even the controversial selection of Trump’s defense, Pete Hegseth, went over the committee and was finally confirmed with the Vice President JD Vance who voted for the vote.

However, if he fails to clear the Committee, he may not be the only Trump selection to reach a road blockade.
In fact, on the same day, Trump’s option to be Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Tullesi Gabbard, also faces the possibility of not passing over his respective committee.
