Jamie Carragher wanted Liverpool to sign the defender in January

Liverpool failed to sign any players in the transfer window in January, despite having the means for that.

The reds were once again quiet in the transmission window that was similar to what they did in the summer transfer window.

Only the Italian wing player Federico Chiesa arrived at the club in the summer window last year.

Despite the lack of work with transfer, their performances on the field are still world class, and the players who are available to manager Arne Slot have performed extremely well.

Looking at Liverpool’s side, there are not many weaknesses in their composition, but Jamie Carragher continues to think that their transfer needed a new defender in January.

Asked about Liverpool’s transfer business, football Pundit claimed on Sky Sports to want Liverpool to sign the defender.

“I wish Liverpool had signed another defender if I was completely honest” Said Carragher, as he reported Metro.

“But I believe that these people (Liverpool’s employment team) know what they are doing, because their record says they do it.”

‘There are definitely areas of Liverpool team that I think I can really improve.

‘But I think that would be something for the summer. I think the center is a forward area where they can improve.

‘The attack of the middle of the terrain is another and the left defender. If these players are now available … I’m not sure they would make offensive because they have numbers, but for me, they have to sign a left back.

‘I’m sure it will come in the summer. The left defender who can play as a left back and left back.

“But for me so much is believed in what these people have done in the last 8-10 years. Even if I think they should (do something) … they know more than I do! They know what they are doing in Liverpool.”

Fans would love to sign a new signature in a winter transfer window to give them an even greater advantage in the Premier League title, but they have shown a cautious approach.

Maybe this could be a sign of bigger things that would come with Liverpool thinking of everything in the end of the season at the summer window.

With some of their players facing an uncertain future at the club, including similar Mohamed is not rightVirgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-ArnoldThe Merseyside Club may need to spend the big one on the possible to replace them and probably are in mind and saves money for it.

The red are currently six points ahead of Arsenal on the league rankings, playing the game less.

The slot side showed their genera’s genera in the League and Champions League this season, and they managed to do so without supporting the transfer market.
