Blues come from behind to go fourth

Chelsea gathered after a break to come from goal down and beat West Ham on the return of Graham Potter to Stamford Bridge.

The home team was on the inside at major periods, and the Potter’s well -organized visitors used the well -deserved lead at the end of the first half through Jarrod Bowen.

But a much improved display in the second half was awarded when Pedro Net got into the equalizer.

And Cole Palmer-not-Escaping is a hand in the winner when his low cross/shot entered Aaron Wan-Bissak to give Chelsea the points back to the Premier League.

Potter, after his first return to Earth, since Chelsea released him in 2023, he would see a lot for delight.

Bowen returned from an injury to introduce himself for the first time in 2025 and was excellent, opening the scoring with a great low end after Levi Colwill error.

Enzo Maresca saw enough and made four changes in the 52th minute.

And one of these, the former Wolves wing player net, drew them at the level of a strong end after Marc Cucurella turned the ball back over the goal.

Palmer-Koji had seven strokes in the goal in the game-he moved to the area and shot in the ball that crossed over the head of Alphonse Areola over former Full-Back-Bissak Manchester United.

Mohammed Kudus had a late shot blocked while the hammers fought in seven minutes of added time, but Chelsea kept.
