Other legislators stated their concern about Kennedy’s candidacy, including Rhode Island’s Democratic Sheldon Whitehouse.
“Frankly, scared people,” Whitehouse said, after saying that there was a first -time outbreak of measles in Rhode Island since 2013 in the middle of a wider discussion on Kennedy’s position on vaccines.
