Manchester City striker Chloe Kelly posted an emotional statement in an attempt to get out of the club before closed on Thursday 11 hours.

Kelly added: “With the approach of the euro, this summer is huge and I want to be in a position to give him my best to represent my country. Something that has always fulfilled me with such pride and it is a true honor to do it.
“However, to be dictated by whom I can and cannot join only four months left since the football season, it has a huge impact not only on my career but also on my mental benefit. The situation has been withdrawing for too long, disappointing and is not right.
“I am in the central point in my life and my career is so important to me and (this) is very disappointing that the sport we love can feel that way, especially after so much growth in our sport.
“That is why I post this, because I want to challenge you all that we, as players, dedicate our lives to our sports and our clubs, but our dreams can collapse as we live in silence.
“I am a man and I have and I will give all the game I love. Ultimately, I just want to be happy again.”
