Fetterman: The Nomination of RFK Jr.



Senator John Fetterman (D-pa.), Who was thought to be open to voting on Robert F. Kennedy, the nomination of Jr. to head the Department of Health and Human Services their audience of rocky confirmation.

“I don’t think he went well for him today. I don’t think he was good,” he said after Kennedy was scared with the Democrats on the Senate Finance Committee for his past statements and his position on vaccines.

Fetterman said that after the forceful audience that he believes the Kennedy candidacy can be “moody”.

“It’s upset,” he said when he asked if he is still open to voting for Kennedy. “I’m not sure about the amount of support that will appear after that.”

The Pennsylvania Democrat said he has already met Kennedy twice.

“I think we can all agree that it was really a difficult performance,” he said. “I’m not sure that even it will go out of the committee.”
