Two of the President Donald Trump’s Most vulnerable administration options will get confirmation audiences in the Senate this week.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.That Trump appointed being Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the former Democratic President Tullesi Gabbard, whom he selected for being Director of National Intelligence (DNI), will have the Committee Confirmation Audiences on Wednesday and Thursday.
On Wednesday, Kennedy will have his first audience with the Senate Finance Committee, which will end up voting on whether he will advance his candidacy for the full Senate. On Thursday he will have an additional audience with the Commission of the Senate of Health, Education, Work and Pensions (HELP), but this committee will have no vote on the candidacy.

The two Trump options were some of the most controversial administration selections. Both Kennedy and Gabbard are ancient Democrats with stories of political positions that conflicts with what many republican senators believe.
In question the legislators of the two parties, Kennedy’s history of important criticism of vaccines and vaccination programs. For some Republicans, the states of which have a great agricultural constituency, their positions on the regulation of more agriculture and food production have been a matter of concern.

Gabbard’s past political positions in relation to national security have given bipartisan legislators a reason for pause, as the role that is nominated is essential for the country’s security and defense.
Both nominees have measures to moderate in the middle of the confirmation process. Kennedy has recovered the suggestions that he is “anti-vacuna” and explained: “If the vaccines work for someone, I will not take them away.”

“People should have choice and this option should be informed for the best information,” he said in an interview with NBC News. “So I will make sure that there is scientific security and efficiency and people can make individual evaluations as to whether this product will be good for them.”

He recently asked if his change of heart in Section 702 had obtained his vote, Senator James Lankford, R-Okla., He said: “Yes, I am, and that was a very important piece for me” .
Although the two candidates have obtained some necessary Republican support in the relevant committees, not everyone has said if they will vote to move forward in the teams. And even if they are voted outside the committees, they could still face an upward battle to be confirmed by the full Senate.
