Fubo Increases Plan Prices and Fees for RSNs in the US

Live TV streaming service Fubo is raising subscription prices for its English-language plans in the US. When mentioning the cost of the software, the company is using changes that apply immediately to new customers, while existing subscribers will see the new price in their rental plan on Feb. 10 or before. Fubo and Disney announced plans to merge their live TV businesses — which also include Hulu TV — and Fubo’s goal of launching a new sports streaming service.

Before the expansion, Fubo ranged from $80 to $90 per month, depending on the region, with an additional charge to access regional sports networks. Of course, the cost of its Essential and Pro plans is now $85 per month (previously $80 per month), making its basic plan higher than competitors YouTube TV and Hulu Plus Live TV, which both cost $83.

According to Fubo, the RSN fee has also increased by $1 for all customers, but it varies depending on where you live. For example, you pay $12 a month, your new cost will be $13 a month. This amount is added to your subscription price if your package includes games.

Here is a chart detailing Fubo’s monthly income before and after the new price hike. Although the streamer no longer has a Deluxe or Premier package for new customers, it is the number of groups has also increased.
