a few steps in the right direction

Things are not going well for Ubisoft at the moment. The publisher had a 2024 problem, and Star Wars Outlaws failure meeting sales expectations and words XDefiantthe death of coming about six months after the professional shooter appeared. Skull and Bones eventually it came again, but it was a slightly damp squib.

Among the rumors about the company is being sold or release some of its products cooperation with TencentUbisoft really needs to win. We have no better opportunity to do this sooner than later Assassin’s Creed Shadows wallpapers. After several delays, the latest entry in the company’s list is it is expected to arrive on March 20.

After a few hours and Pictures of ACthere are good signs. The game looks great and plays as well as Ubisoft should, the company is walking the line between playing things too safe and trying something different.

After the success of AC Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla (also a little fun Mirage), Shadows it puts a new dimension of Assassin’s Creed to another level. This is the first game in the series that feeds directly into the Animus Hub project (formerly known as Unlimited).

Before entering the water Assassin’s Creed Shadows wallpapersYou will enter the Animus Hub. From here, you will be able to find various Assassin’s Creed games (Shadows and the previous four entries) from the memory section. They are placed at an easy time to travel.

The unusual part of the hub includes missions for Shadowswhich will give special prizes such as weapons and armor. You can also change the amount of your characters from the exchange section and see the news of the current AC games through the chat room.

The Animus Hub will grow in the coming years as Ubisoft releases more games. This is a very ambitious project that aims to tie the series together. It was said that the company will try to turn the list entering into a life-work and the Animus Hub, and we get a brief look at that and the missions. There’s not a ton of content as of yet, but Ubisoft has big ambitions here.

Shadows brings this to the long-awaited frontier of Assassin’s Creed: 16th century Japan. Another big twist this time is that you can switch between two characters. Different points in the story see you choosing to play as Yasuke or Naoe and, especially in the open world, you’ll be able to switch between them on the fly. An exchange can be useful if one person is wanted by the enemy, as the other cannot be identified.

Yasuke is the tank of the two, able to run through other doors while running. He can take advantage of a variety of weapons such as guns and bows, so some players may want to use him to pick off a few enemies from a distance early on. He can knock baddies around using his skills canabó fight club as well.

Naoe plays a lot like the hero of Assassin’s Creed. He is very slow and his parkour skills are level. The shinobi can quickly climb the sides of the building and has a grappling hook to help him reach higher places and jump. In direct combat, Naoe can spin an enemy in his teeth, or turn his back to slice his throat.

Perhaps most importantly (at least from what I’ve seen of the game), Naoe is the only one of the two with a classic hidden blade. Yasuke is still able to sneak up on his opponent to finish them off with a single button, but the “brutal kill” sees him swing his sword through the enemy and lift them into the sky. Not exactly subtle.

The transition between Naoe and Yasuke is as seamless as the exchange between, say, Peter and Miles in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The latter requires a quick action in the game, and the action goes to another Spider-Man. In Assassin’s Creed Shadows wallpapersswapping characters means going into the menu, holding down a button and waiting for a few seconds for the other hero to take over.

There is no character change at the start, however, which is one of the two episodes I played. Unsurprisingly, this serves as the beginning of the story and how to play the game.

In the first Assassin’s Creed, one of the playable characters existed in real life. It doesn’t take long for the players to learn how Yasuke, a black African man, became a samurai. After a brief fall, we jump six months to war. It’s a great way to start dealing with what Yasuke can do, including special weapons like sword strikes.

After his little performance, we go back into the night with Naoe’s introduction. When an important box is stolen (the contents of which are unknown), he goes to collect it from the crowd. This short work shows some of the hidden features.

One of the cool additions to the game is the ability to bring out night lights to create ad-hoc hideouts in the shadows. Naoe can blow out candles and destroy distant lights using a that or shuriken. This may not be necessary depending on the distance (and difficulty) and how quickly you can clear the roof once you are seen.

The second part I played was a detective role. I had to get to the bottom of the mystery by completing some tasks and gathering information. All of this made for an inevitable but fun boss fight with a satisfying resolution to the quest.

The composition of Assassin’s Creed Shadows wallpapers it will lend itself to multiple games for those who really dig it. I spent a lot of time watching as Naoe, but I’m interested to see how things play out as Yasuke. There are dialogue options throughout the game but there is a canon option that will eliminate these choices and give you a legitimate story. Players may also be interested in switching the dialogue languages to Japanese and Portuguese for deeper immersion after beating the game in their native language.

Some of Ubisoft’s game updates introduced this time shake things up. The true eagle skill now helps Naoe find and wall enemies. His smoke grenades and distracting bells come in handy when there are too many enemies to deal with. Both of these characters can also lie, which provides an opportunity to hide and sneak around.

I quickly tried several side activities, such as the peaceful practice of poaching animals for other purposes to photograph. When it comes to reducing things to keep things calm, this sounds a lot like haiku writing in Ghost of Tsushima (observations, results of the game, The spirit of Yotei it is expected to be released in 2025 and may provide competition Assassin’s Creed Shadows wallpapers.)

Ubisoft

It wasn’t very clear based on what I’ve seen, but it seems like Ubisoft has reduced the amount of maps that Assassin’s Creed has, which could help make the game a little heavier. The top view and links only show the important places, not everything there is to see in the area. The company got back on the map a little bit Mirageso that a good lesson was learned in that way.

Add it all up and I left the session feeling right and satisfied. The game looks absolutely gorgeous. It’s what you’d expect from an Assassin’s Creed game these days, but with enough tweaks, new wrinkles and life changes to make it compelling enough. It sounds like a great entry point into the series with enough interest for long-time fans. For what it’s worth, I’m ready to play more, like the guy who finished Assassin’s Creed Mirage but he came out Valhalla after 10 hours.

I look forward to playing more Assassin’s Creed Shadows wallpapers and see, for example, how the weather changes things. Lakes freeze in winter, which eliminates the ability to swim or hide underwater. Icicles can be used as distractions. I have not yet tried the spying method, which may seem useful for research purposes.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows wallpapers naturally they have a leg up on many other Ubisoft games due to the popularity of the series. It seemed to be on the verge of success, but it seems to be good enough to be successful. If so, this could help Ubisoft rebuild its ship away from the rocks.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows wallpapers will hit PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Windows, Mac (and eventually iPad), Ubisoft+ and Amazon Luna on March 20.
