Arsenal have reportedly upped their bid for the RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko as Mikel Arteta identified him as the perfect signing forward.

The Slovenia international has been on fire for RB Leipzig over the past few seasons, emerging as one of the most exciting young talents in Europe.

With a record 19 goals and two assists in all competitions for club and country so far this season, Šeško is showing why linked with clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United per talkSPORT and other outlets.

“I was a Manchester United fan as a kid, but I knew I had to leave after just one training session!” – which Man Utd blunder made this BIG revelation?

Another update has arrived on Seško’s future as All transfers claim the Gunners have made an improved offer of €70m to try and sign the 21-year-old this January.

However, it remains to be seen whether the current club will release him in the middle of the season.

According to an earlier report by talkSPORT, Arsenal may have to wait until the summer to have a better chance of signing Cesko.

However, Todo Fichajes suggests that AFC are doing everything they can to convince Leipzig to let him go now, so this could be an interesting one to keep an eye on as we approach the end of the January window.

Arsenal face an uphill battle to get back into the title race, but adding a true No. 9 like Sesko could make all the difference.

At the moment, Arteta’s side manage to stay close to Liverpool and apply pressure in case they make a mistake, but it’s hard to imagine they will have enough to do so if they don’t improve up front.

Both Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus are injured, while Kai Havertz has mostly blown hot and cold as the jury is still out on whether the forward is really his best position.
