Leicester City claimed a crucial 2-1 victory over Tottenham in a tense encounter that ended without a win in the Premier League.
Jamie Vardy and Bilal El Khannouss struck early in the second half to cancel out Richarlison’s first-half opener, leaving Spurs stunned and deepening their struggles under Ange Postecoglou.
The game started with Tottenham dominating the early proceedings. Richarlison, making his second league start of the season, gave Spurs the lead in the 33rd minute.
Pedro Porro whipped in an inch-perfect cross from the right and the Brazilian met it with a diving header to beat Leicester goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk.
Spurs continued to press, with Porro hitting the woodwork and Son Heung-min forcing a fine save from Stolarczyk, but they were unable to extend their lead before the interval.
Leicester’s false first-half display offered little indication of what was to follow.
Just 58 seconds into the second half, the Foxes tied the game. Bobby de Cordova-Reid, influential during the second half, sent a low cross into the area, which Tottenham’s defense failed to clear.

Vardy fought back, smashing home from close range to score his 10th career goal against Spurs and Sparking Life in Leicester.
Moments later, the visitors completed their comeback. De Cordova-Reid intercepted a loose pass from Rodrigo Bentancur and found El Khannous in space.
The Jamaica international curled a sublime effort into the bottom corner from 20 yards, silencing the home crowd and putting Leicester 2-1 ahead on 50 minutes.
Tottenham demanded a response, with Porro and substitute Mikey Moore coming close.
Porro hit the bar with a thunderous 30-yard free-kick, while Moore saw a goal-bound rebound brilliantly saved by Stolarczyk in added time.
The defeat marked their fourth successive Premier League loss, leaving Postecoglou’s side languishing in the bottom six and searching for answers.
For Leicester, the win was a much-needed boost in their fight against relegation.
