Palestinian security prisoners arrive in Gaza

Ceasefire disputes between Israel, Hamas and Hezbollah threaten to derail the accords on Sunday as arguments erupt over several key details.
Israel accused Hamas of changing the order of the hostages he planned to release. As a result, Israeli forces prevented thousands of Palestinians from returning to northern Gaza.
Israeli forces also announced on Friday that they will not fully withdraw from southern Lebanon as required by the ceasefire until the Lebanese government fully implements its own responsibilities. Under the agreement, both groups were expected to withdraw before Sunday.
“IDF troops operating in southern Lebanon fired warning shots to eliminate threats in several areas where suspects were identified approaching the troops,” he wrote in a statement on Sunday.

The cease-fire agreement between Israel, Hamas and Hezbollah remains fragile as disagreements over details grow.

The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) expressed concern about the situation in a statement to X, saying that Lebanese civilians had tried to return to their homes that were still occupied by Israeli forces.
“The IDF must avoid firing on civilians inside Lebanese territory. Further violence risks undermining the fragile security situation in the area and the prospects for stability brought by the cessation of hostilities and the formation of a government in Lebanon,” UNIFIL wrote.
Disputes come right after President Donald Trump called on Egypt and Jordan to accept refugees from Gaza to “cleanse” the region.

“I wish Egypt would take people,” Trump said. “You’re talking about a million and a half people probably, and we just clean all of that up and say, ‘You know, it’s over.'”

Trump said he applauded Jordan for taking in Palestinian refugees, but told the king: “I would love for you to take in more, because right now I’m looking at the whole Gaza Strip and it’s a disaster. It’s a real mess. . “
