Hi friends! Happy Friday! How was your week? I hope this is great. Our guy started in Orlando and ended up back in Tasmania with a sick pilot and I was scrambling lol. This weekend I’m looking forward to the symphony, time with friends, hiking, and attending the first dance competition of the season in Phoenix.
(Soup season! I just throw a ton of veggies, stock, herbs, and beans into the Instant Pot and top it with lemon juice and avocado)
Hope you have a great weekend too!
Disney World Adventure:
Disney is perfect as usual. We arrived on Friday night, got a little sleep, and then headed to the Magic Kingdom on Saturday. We spent the whole day doing all the rides and having lunch with our guests. This is one of our staples, but on this trip the food was especially amazing.
(I also had the GF rolls and the French onion soup they made without the bread pan)
I mentioned to the server that I was GF – she asked the table if there were any allergies and I said I didn’t have allergies but I avoid them for health reasons – she brought lots of gluten free snacks!
i must admit We were overwhelmed by the food on our last Disney cruisethe food in the park was better this time. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was easy to find gluten-free options, proteins, and veggies among the usual cascade of Disney popcorn and sweet treats. 😉
We rolled into the park at 11 and had a leisurely lunch, but we were still able to do 15 attractions and close the park.
This is our first time on Tron and it’s been so much fun.
It rained on Sunday and they predicted thunderstorms all day long.
We wear ponchos (always buy them on Amazon; they are about $15 in the park) Shoes and rain, Finally saved the day! ! We were completely dry and no one got wet. 😉
The good news is that the rain slowed down and there were no thunderstorms and we were able to do all the rides and attractions. I have a weird fear of dinosaurs – I thought it was because they were real for once, but they really scared me – and the family convinced me to conquer my fear and go on Dinosaurs.
lol.
The Avatar ride is a much-needed palate cleanser – every passing flight is epic.
We saw the Lion King show (so good) and had lunch at the Satuli Canteen.
(Chicken, Sweet Potatoes, Salad and Chimichurri Sauce)
We ended the evening at Disney Springs and woke up early for our Monday morning flight!
It was a quick trip, but it was a blast and the ideal way to celebrate Liv’s 13th birthday.
Here are more favorites from this week:
Tuckernuck Sale! There are a lot of amazing finds in this deal, but I had some constraints and ordered three dresses:
Classic Dresses You Can Dress Up or Down
Excited to wear this dress with white sneakers
and this pink shirt

my friend julie Mentioned the show young Same today, I just discovered it and fell in love with it over the past week. It came up on my Netflix “Recommended for You” and I had no idea it was an older show – I thought it was brand new. I thought to myself, “Wow, Sutton Foster is really having a moment right now.” It’s witty, funny, romantic, and I love it all the time when I’m strolling around on the walking pad.
new toothpasteI’ve been paying attention PhD b and Dr. Staci Been on Instagram for a while so I was excited to try their brand. It’s *very* sweet, but I like the ingredients and so far it seems to be doing a pretty good job. If you’re looking for clean toothpaste options, check it out! P tried it last night and loved it.
I ordered a case of this hydrogen water and although it tasted great, the shipping was horrendous. This took forever to ship and half the jar was dented, so I have mixed feelings about it.
Salted chocolate pudding…omggggg
Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! Have a great weekend and I’ll see you soon!
