Tata takes a 60% stake in the Apple Pegatron group

Electricity uses a 60% control cost in the Indian arm of Apple assembly, pegatron, as trainers expand its iPhone production capacity in the country.

Taiwan-based Pegatron operates an iPhone plant near Chennai in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. His actions are less than a year after the electronics giant took over the Indian Smartphone Company of India.

Pegatron and Tata did not disclose the financials of the deal, but Tata said the acquisition fits in the way of expanding its footprint.

“We are looking forward to the new era of Ai, led by technology, what we create, what we are creating in India,” Rand & MD and MD of electronics, said.

Tata, who started gathering iPhones in India last yearis quickly emerging as one of Apple’s biggest trends as a consumer giant in expanding its manufacturing base outside of China.
