Rep. Summer Lee, D-Pa., said in an X op-ed that “white supremacy and xenophobia” are the “true religion” of the political right and that the values of the right do not come from life and the instruction of Christ.
“It has long been known that the true religion of the right is white supremacy and xenophobia. None of its real values come from the life and teachings of the Christ of the Christian Bible…” he wrote in a post on his account @SummerForPA. .

“None of us should take lectures from someone who has repeatedly demonstrated anti-Semitic behavior and now condemns millions of fellow citizens who simply want freedom, opportunity and secure borders,” he said in a tweet.
Lee quickly shot him.
“Senator, I condemn those who profess to follow the teachings of Christ, but do not love their neighbor or do justice to the least of them. Is that you? When he is hungry, will you feed him or reduce his SNAP benefits? When he is hungry .a stranger, will you invite him in or build a wall?” she replied.

McCormick was just sworn in as a senator earlier this month.
