Brentford made Kayode sign and say that Wissa ‘wasn’t for sale’

Brentford has signed a contract with the defender Fiorentine Michael Kayode on loan and insists that Yoane Wissa striker will not leave the club this month.

28-year-old Wissa recently became the leading scorer in the Premier League club and scored a total of 41 goals from coming from Lorient 2021.

Earlier this week, he was connected with a transition to Nottingham Forest, but manager Thomas Frank does not see the development of any transfer.

He said, “It’s good with all these rumors, I love a transitional deadline.

“There is a lot of rumors, for me again, he is a Brentford player and in my opinion of Wissa is not for sale, he was our leading number nine, he was fantastic.

“I don’t see why we would sell it.”

Kayode, 20, is a versatile player who can play on Bek or in the center of the defense, and Frank is happy to get his man.

He added: “We really like it, we are very happy that we were able to sign with him to give us more depths in Bekovo positions. I think it’s a very talented, fantastic physical package.

“He has good ability to go forward. Very good defensive. Of course, he is young and needs to be developed. He didn’t play much this season, but he played more or less the whole season in Fiorentina. ”
