FIRST ON FOX: Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)in the first days of the Trump administration, it has made 460 arrests of illegal immigrants, including those with criminal records that include sexual assault, domestic violence, and drug and gun offenses.
Information obtained by Fox News Digital shows that between midnight on Jan. 21 and 9 a.m. on Jan. 22, over a 33-hour period, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) arrested more than 460 aliens including criminal record for sexual assault, theft, robbery, aggravated assault. crimes of assault, drugs and weapons, resisting arrest and domestic violence.
The agents arrested nationals from a large number of countries such as Afghanistan, Angola, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Senegal and Venezuela.

The arrests took place across the United States, including Illinois, Utah, California, Minnesota, New York, Florida and Maryland.
On January 22, 2025, ICE-ERO News York arrested Kamaro Denver Haye, a citizen of Jamaica. The New York City Police Department (NYPD) previously arrested Haye on 12/10/2024 for “promoting sexual performance by a child under 17 and possessing sexual performance by a minor 16 years old: possession/access to See”. Meanwhile, ICE issued more than 420 arrests: ICE asks be notified when a national is released. The nationals were arrested for crimes such as murder, sexual assault, kidnapping, assault and theft.

The arrests include:
– A Mexican, Jesús Pérez, arrested in Salt Lake City, accused of aggravated sexual abuse of a minor.
On January 22, 2025, ICE-ERO Chicago arrested Adan Pablo-Ramirez, an inadmissible Mexican national with convictions for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. (US Immigration and Customs Enforcement)
– A Honduran, Franklin Osorto-Cruz, convicted of driving while intoxicated. He was arrested in New York.
– A Jamaican national, Kamaro Denver Haye, arrested for “promoting sexual performance by a child under 17 and possessing sexual performance by a child under 16: having/access to view”.
– A Mexican, Jesús Baltazar Mendoza, convicted of assault in the second degree against a minor. He was arrested in Sant Pau.
– Colombian national Andrés Orjuela Parra, who was arrested in San Francisco. He has a conviction for sexual penetration with a foreign object to an unknown victim.

– Six illegal immigrants in Miami from Guatemala, with criminal records including assault, child abuse, fraud, resisting arrest, DWI, trespassing and vandalism.
Meanwhile, Fox News’ Bill Melugin was in Boston, where the agents arrested several MS-13 gang members, Interpol Red Notices and murder and rape suspects.
The arrests come as the Trump administration is moving quickly to fulfill its promise to launch a historic mass deportation operation, which it has said will focus primarily, but not exclusively, on threats to public safety.
On January 22, 2025, ICE-ERO New York City arrested Jose Roberto Rodriguez-Urbina, a 22-year-old citizen of El Salvador. Rodríguez is an alleged member of the MS13 gang and is also the subject of a red notice from El Salvador’s Interpol for the crime of extortion. (US Immigration and Customs Enforcement)
This week, the administration has made a slew of moves to make it happen, including a barrage of executive orders from President Trump and subsequent moves by his Cabinet agencies.
Fox News reported Wednesday that the Department of National Security has removed limits on expedited removal powers, a day after rescinding a Biden-era memo that restricted where ICE can conduct enforcement operations.

“The teams have been there since today,” Homan said on “America’s Newsroom” Tuesday. “We instructed them to prioritize the public safety threats we’re looking for. We’ve been working on the target list.”

“Out of the gate are the threats to public safety, those who are in the country illegally who have been convicted, arrested for serious crimes,” he said. “But let me be clear. It’s not just threats to public safety that are going to be arrested, because in sanctuary cities, we’re not allowed to have that threat to public safety in jail, which means we have to “go to the neighborhood and find him.”
