President Donald Trump he is quickly showing his accessibility to reporters days after returning to the White House, a stark contrast to his Democratic predecessor who often dodged questions and took written questions from reporters.

On Monday, hours after being inaugurated in the US Capitol, Trump answered questions for 45 minutes while sitting in the Oval Office and simultaneously signed a barrage of executive orders and actions. The back-and-forth with reporters was broadcast live by Fox News and CNN.
Trump is taking questions on Wednesday Sean Hannity of Fox News, for his first Oval Office interview since returning to the White House.
The session will take place at 9 pm ET on Fox News’ “Hannity.”

The accessibility with reporters shows Trump’s unscripted nature and stands in stark contrast to that former president joe biden, whose interactions with journalists were more limited and sometimes tightly managed.
“Did Biden ever hold press conferences like this?” Trump asked Monday, appearing to take a jab at the former president.

Julie Mason, a national radio talk show host, veteran White House reporter and former White House Correspondents’ Association board-elect, told Fox News that “it’s completely refreshing to have an accessible president and available”.
“He’ll answer any question you ask him. He’s not always happy with the questions he gets, but he relates to reporters. That’s the most important thing. His job is to inform the public about what’s going on in the White House. And to have direct access to the president is essential for this,” Mason stressed.
He added that “Biden was kept very secretive. Reporters rarely had a chance to ask him anything. It was a huge frustration in the press corps. This is completely different.”

Trump is known for his lengthy interactions with reporters. He held two no-holds-barred press conferences at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Fla., during his transition back to the presidency.
And while for years he has accused reporters of being “fake news” and “the enemy of the people,” and while the answers to his questions keep fact-checkers busy, his exchanges with the media are often free-flowing, without any helper. select reporters to ask questions.

Budowich says Trump’s approachability and unfamiliar style contribute to his political success.
“The reason why we won this election is because of Donald Trump. The reason why we will be able to execute his agenda is because of Donald Trump,” he argued.
