Manchester United forwards Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund are reportedly being eyed by AC Milan as transfer targets at the end of January.
Chelsea’s Joao Felix is also on Milan’s radar after the Serie A giants appear to have conceded defeat in the race to sign Red Devils ace Marcus Rashford.
This is according to a report from ESPNwho state that Milan gave Rashford a deadline to agree to the transfer, but that it is his Barcelona seems to have the clear advantage now.
It remains to be seen who will now be the most realistic target for the Rossoneri, but it is possible that another Man Utd attack is possible.
Both Zirkzee and Hojlund have already played in Serie Aand both have struggled since moving from Italy to England.
However, Chelsea’s misfit Felix could be another interesting one to watch, as it is assumed that the Blues would surely be content to let the out-of-form Portugal international leave.
Felix returned to Chelsea for a second spell last summer but didn’t make too much of an impact, so perhaps he could do what other former Blues failures have done and try to rebuild his career at the San Siro.
Milan have ex-Chelsea players like Christian Pulisic, Tammy Abraham, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fikay Tomori on their books, so perhaps Felix can enjoy a bit of a renaissance there too.
In the meantime, United could probably move a few more players, as none of Rashford, Zirkzee or Hojlund look good enough for them.
It will be difficult to replace them in time, however, as MUFC do not have long left to complete a major deal for a top-class attacking player who could truly strengthen them.
