Here are all the Android phones that support Qi2

Qi2 wireless charging spec was announced in early 2023. However, Android phone manufacturers haven’t really rushed to add Qi2 support to their latest devices since then. This has made finding a compatible mobile phone difficult, which is difficult for anyone who has seen the wealth of power banks that iPhone owners have had for generations.

On top of the speed boost (up to 15 watts or more in later upgrades), the Qi2 mandates the inclusion of integrated magnets designed to make connections and attach peripherals.

But what makes the slow rollout even more frustrating is that Apple is a member of the Wireless Power Consortium (the regulatory body that oversees Qi2) and its MagSafe technology was used to help define and ensure that compatible accessories work well with Qi2, so it’s not like there is a lack of compatible peripherals.

Regardless, to help you figure out which Android phones come with Qi2, we’ve compiled a list of supported devices. (Note: Due to the difficulties of the Chinese market, this list focuses on devices available in North America and the EU.)

That’s it, seriously. At least not now.

However, things are looking up in 2025, viz Samsung has already committed to manufacturing More “Android devices supporting Qi2” this year. And it is his coming Unpackaged event prepared next weekthings may change soon.

Google seems to have promised to throw its hat in the ring. That said, things aren’t going well as the company says it will “take a leading role in the development of the upcoming Qi v2.2 standard, which includes Google to contribute its advanced wireless technology to the WPC.”

Looking ahead, it is Mobile World Congress 2025 starting March 3, we expect to see updates from the biggest developers.

As new Qi2-enabled phones hit the market, we’ll try to keep this list as up-to-date as possible. Or at least until the product becomes more popular.
