AC Milan are now reportedly very interested in Chelsea striker Joao Felix.
The Serie A giants are considering a move for the Portuguese international, Sky Germany have suggested.
Felix moved to Chelsea in the summer from Atletico Madrid. He moved to Stamford Bridge in a deal worth £42m plus £4.3m in add-ons.
He signed a seven-year contract but now the club could move him amid foreign interests.
Journalist Florian Plettenberg published on Xformerly known as Twitter: “Understood AC Milan are now very interested in Joao Felix. Meanwhile, there is still no sign of a Marcus Rashford transfer. The negotiations are complicated because of the huge financial package.”
It comes after a report from TeamTalk that new Milan manager Sergio Conceicao is keen to bring his Portuguese compatriot to the San Siro. It is thought that the boss’ familiarity with Felix and joint representation by agent Jorge Mendes could pave the way for a potential deal.
Milan intend to secure Felix on loan with an option to buy, but Chelsea are currently waiting for either a permanent transfer or a loan with an obligation to buy. Negotiations between the clubs are ongoing, and the continuation of talks is expected in the coming days, according to TeamTalk.
Apart from Felix, Milan are exploring the possibility of signing more Chelsea players – Rossoneri have inquired about Ben Chilwell – who likes Evertonas CaughtOffside revealed – Carney Chukwuemeka, Christopher Nkunku and Tosin Adarabioyo can all leave.
Chilwell has emerged as a candidate to strengthen Milan’s left-back position amid uncertainty over Theo Hernandez’s future with the Italian team. Even if the Frenchman extends his contract, Milan see Chilwell as a valuable addition, especially as he is reportedly not part of Enzo Maresca’s plans.
TeamTalk also say that Milan have maintained an interest in Chukwuemeka in recent months and that the club have initiated contact with Chelsea regarding the midfielder over a possible move to the club from San Siro.
