At the end of this week, the Japanese people will get to watch the new series Mobile Suit Gundam list, GQuuuuuuXin the theater. Fortunately, North American audiences will once again get a chance to watch upcoming anime on the big screen, as well – we’ll just have to wait a little longer before it’s over.
On Friday, film distributor Gkids revealed that it has acquired the theatrical rights Mobile Suit Gundam: GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- movie. This is not known at this time, nor is it clear if the shows will only have Japanese subtitles (like when. It’s Da Dan hit theaters last year), or include an English dub. While extended franchises aren’t new for sports movies and compilations, this one makes it a first Gundam to show since Reconguista in G having the first three episodes shown in theaters, and the first show in the franchise to reach North American locations.

GQuuuuuuX he comes with a lot of creative talent behind him Neon Genesis Evangelion alums Kazuya Tsurumaki and Yoji Enokido, plus the creator of the franchise, Hideaki Anno. In a statement, Gkids’ president, David Jesteadt, highlighted the brand’s performance, saying it’s “an incredible combination of technical talent that works together in a multidisciplinary team like. Mobile Suit Gundam I see appointments. We are proud to be a part of bringing such an exciting project to the film audience that this film truly deserves. “
While we wait Mobile Suit Gundam: GQuuuuuuX’s theater cuts on February 28 (and the actual show that will take place sometime this year), it will not hurt to watch the shows set in the Universal Century continuously, since it seems like this is important. Or, Mubi soon followed After War Gundam X, and that seems pretty good in itself.
