Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., introspected a migrant rights activist in a tense moment during a Senate hearing on the “Stay in Mexico” policy. Thursday because of what he said meant to downplay the importance of the murder of Laken Riley and to say that migrant crime is “not a real problem”.

Hawley also noted the case of a A 12-year-old boy from the area of St. Louis named Travis Wolfe who died in a car accident involving an illegal immigrant.
“I think their violent murders are real problems,” he said. “And the fact that you say otherwise, sit here and advise the Senate that Laken Riley Act It’s a bad idea, that it’s all not a real problem, it’s just, what, made up? I think (this) is outrageous. I think it’s absolutely outrageous.”
