President Biden was widely criticized by conservatives on social media after warning in his final address to the nation of an “oligarchy taking shape in America.”
“That’s why my farewell address tonight, I want to warn the country about some things that I’m very concerned about,” Biden said in his farewell address Wednesday night. “And that is dangerous, and that is the dangerous concentration of power in the hands of a few ultra-rich people, and the dangerous consequences if their abuse of power goes unchecked. Today, an oligarchy is forming in America from a extreme wealth, power and influence that literally threatens our entire democracy, our basic rights and freedoms and a fair chance for everyone to get ahead.”
“We see the consequences across America. And we’ve seen it before.”
Conservatives on social media quickly reacted to this comment with criticism pointing to billionaires who Biden has associated with over the years, including liberal mega-donor George Soros, whom he recently awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Fox News Digital previously informed about several billionaires who donated to President Biden’s re-election campaign last year, including Steve Jobs’ widow Laurene Powell Jobs and Alphabet Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt.
