Grok, the AI agent that for some reason was baked into X, is now available as stand alone program. As a type that is available as a tab on social networking sites, the Grok program can be used to create images, summarize texts and answer questions, with the tone of voice xAI, the developer of the AI assistant, calls “funny and interesting.”
The app was first tested with a few users in December 2024, the same time X was released. free Grok section which is available to everyone. Before that, you had to pay $8 a month to get X Premium access to AI.
Free restrictions – 10 requests every two hours, three requests to scan images per day – can also apply to the Grok app. You can use the app without signing in, or sign in with an Apple account, X account, Google account, or old email. It’s not clear if the X Premium subscription gets you the same benefits in the Grok app as the X does.
Grok has been dealing with similar issues round about right and amazing color options like other AI agents Gemini and ChatGPT. Chatbot stands out especially from competitors because xAI he threw it away such as the ability to answer “funny questions” other AI agents avoid, and the Grok AI version and open source. You should see for yourself how “sweet” Grok’s software is, but you don’t have to go to X to use it here.
