xAI is testing a standalone iOS app for its Grok chatbot


Elon Musk’s AI company, xAI, is experimenting iOS app only on its chatbot, Grok, which was only available to X users until now.

The app, which is currently live in several countries including the US, Australia, and India, can access real-time content from the Internet and X, and offers AI features such as text rewriting, summarizing long paragraphs, a little Q&A, and more. making pictures from audio, too.

“Grok is an AI-powered assistant designed to be authentic, helpful and engaging. Get answers to any question, create stunning images, and upload photos to get a deeper understanding of your world,” said the list.

xAI is also planning a dedicated website, Grok.com, to make chatbots available online. Currently, the site says “coming soon” when you sign in with an xAI account.

Grok was only available to X subscribers until recently. In November, the company started testing the free version of the chatbotand where did he roll it all users earlier this month.

The company says its photo-realistic chatbot model excels at “photorealistic rendering,” and doesn’t apply major restrictions on its image-making capabilities, allowing users to create images using crowdsourced images and copyrighted material.
