Joachim Andersen scored from the volley, Raul Jimenez scored his third penalty in five days and Timothy Castagne headed home Martial Godo’s cross as the hosts won 4-1 to hand Watford a fourth successive defeat.

Sheffield United v Cardiff: Ashford goal wins tie

The third place in second layerSheffield United are 29 points clear of second-placed Cardiff ā€“ but the Bluebirds scored the only goal of the game when Cian Ashford won possession in the danger area and slotted home after 19 minutes.

Harrison Burrows went closest for The Blades, curling a shot wide of the post late on as his side suffered a third defeat in five games.
